Azul

I decided to buy a new (to me) car. For years I've been driving predominately German vehicles. Currently my car is a Volkswagen. We also have a bit of Sweden in the garage - a Volvo mostly driven by Amy. There's nothing wrong with my VW. It runs great, but it's getting older, a little worn. Plus I've been driving more, and... actually, I don't have any real justification. I just wanted a change, without spending a fortune. The Saab has always been on my car wish list. Some people advised not to even go near a Saab. Others signed off, with caveats (stay away from the 9-5 model was one piece of advice).

After lots of Craigslist and eBay surfing, I found a beautiful blue Saab. The seller was a Saab mechanic in the South Bay. One look at the color and I was hooked. I've named the car Azul, and when I speak of Azul, I do so in a Ricardo Montalvon voice.

Of course I've been trying to take the perfect picture of Azul. Here's the Silicon Client's parking lot on a sunny day. Color isn't well-represented:

Overcast day. This picture is closer to Azul's true shade:

I'm holding onto the VW for the time being, which makes us a 3-car family, part German and mostly Swedish.
